Some 2019 Chevy Corvette vehicles equipped with a 6.2L engine and 8L90 automatic transmission may have an issue due to transmission valve body solenoids not being fully seated.

DTC P2718 or P2720 may set & the transmission may revert to a limp home mode providing limited forward gear selection.

It may be necessary to remove the exhaust for access clearance.

Remove the transmission fluid pan.

Locate the two valve body solenoid connectors toward the front of the vehicle.
Press firmly on each connector to ensure that it is fully seated in the valve body solenoid.
Reinstall the fluid pan and fill the transmission with the specified ATF and at specified capacity.

Check the two solenoid connectors towards the front of the vehicle for proper seating. -
